Kirchhoff Field Bleacher Renovation
The Orange & Blue Club is working to raise at least $15,000 to support new bleachers and press box at Kirchhoff Field. The goal of this initiative is to create a safe environment for everyone in attendance while also enhancing the overall experience for fans and staff attending a game.
The current bleachers, nearly 25 years old, do not comply with current safety regulations, and need to be replaced. The addition of a modern press box will provide not only a better work space and vantage point for our Office of Athletic Communications staff, but will protect them from the rain, wind, and cold of early season play.
The total project is projected to cost $125,000. To date, the Orange & Blue Club has already received generous lead gifts from alumni, parents and friends of the Baseball program, but still needs your support to complete the project this summer. We also want to give all baseball alumni and parents of current players the opportunity to be part of this special project. Once the new bleachers and press box have been installed, there will be no better place to watch a game in the Centennial Conference than Kirchhoff Field.
Help us create an amazing fan experience for everyone who will watch a game at Kirchhoff Field in the future. All gifts to the College count towards Gettysburg Great: The Campaign for Our College, and are tax deductible. Please support this initiative today, and spread the word to all past Gettysburg baseball alumni.
If you have any questions about the project, please don't hesitate to contact Dave Wright (firstname.lastname@example.org), John Campo (email@example.com) or Josh Azer (firstname.lastname@example.org).
